Will Jay Cutler ever be an Elite QB in the NFL?

If so how long will it take before the light comes on?

He has the tools, but he has to get out of Chicago first. Or they need to get some receivers with a pulse, and a little better O-Line.

Like I said before, I don't understand mortgaging so much to bring him in and then not get him a receiver.

He reminds me of Jeff George. He has all of the talent, all of the skills and can make all of the throws. He doesn't seem to have the "head" or attitude for it. He'll kick around the league for a few years, then he'll become a backup and either wash out of the league or turn it around after he matures.

T.O will be a free agent next year, might not be a bad pick up for the bears.

The receiver are ok compared to the O-line. It is hard to throw a good football with a Riddell under your chin all night. Orlando Pace was "The Man" now he is "The Old Man".

no Jay Cutler wil not be an elite player because 1. hes not at that level yet 2. the bears are not at the mike ditkas team level so none of em should be elite players
