| With the Colts and Saints both making it to the Super Bowl, does this end the debate over them resting their starters and losing week 15 and week 16 games? | |

| I liked the idea of them resting, the goal isnt 16-0, the goal is where they are. The debate was in the media, most of which never strapped up to play, so they have no idea what its like. I think it shuts them up until next year. | |

| Its just like a 4th and 2 call. If you get it than its a good call, if you don't it gets second guessed. In this case, both teams made it on 4th and 2 so its a good call. Look at the beating Favre took the other day, if you get a chance to rest your players than you have earned that right. I agree with PhinPhan, the media blows it out of proportion but they are shut up for now. | |

| I was afraid they would both make it. The NFL being the biggest copycat league there is, that means that everyone in the NFL will be resting players next year that wrap up the playoffs early. Only chance for a good game is if two potential wildcard teams play each other or the home field advantage isnt wrapped up. | |

| The last 2 regular season games should always be division games. The chances would be greater of the games having meaning. If you weren't playing for division standings, maybe you would at least be playing a rivalry game. | |

This is not a bad idea. | |
