| With the season on the horizon, thought it was time to unleash this year's version of Trimble Trivia.
This year I'll go one question at a time, once it is answered correctly we'll move on to the next one.
1) Of the 11 touchdowns scored by the Tomcats in the 2003 77-18 Trimble route of the Tornadoes, how many were on pass plays?

| I'll say 0. If your up fifty points and scoring at will your probably not throwing the ball much. | |

| Rock got it with 2
A.J. Jenkins set the school record for most passing yards in a season that year, but only threw one TD against Southern Anthony Dixon also had one TD completion Nine touchdowns on the ground is pretty impressive
#2 This one I just recently found out; Who did Jacksonville-Trimble High School play in their first-ever game?

| The obvious would be Glouster, but I know it ain't gonna be that easy. I'll say The Buchtel Bruins, or would it be York Bruins. | |

| Sometimes the obivous is correct, Kermit Blosser's Glouster Tomcats beat J-T 57-0 to open the 1933 season.
#3 Since consolidation, who is the only Trimble Coach to have a State Football Championship on his resume?

| Culver coached in the 1987 state championship after leaving Trimble, but we had a coach who had won two state championships before coming to Tomcatland | |

| Great question and certainly information that wasn't known. Give us the details as nobody certainly knows the answer to this one. | |

| The answer to #3 is Joe Bokovitz. "Big Joe" was an assistant coach on the 1957 and 1959 Ravenswood high School teams that won the West Virginia State Championship before coming to Glouster.
(As far as I know) #4a) Who is the only Tomcat to be a member of a Division I football team, and win a bowl game? #4b) What team was he on #4c) What bowl did he win #4d) What team did they beat #4e) What are the position initials on his bowl ring?

| The only guess I would have is Kevin Meade but I believe Akron was D II when he played. | |

| Where did Bingman go to school? I was thinking that he won a bowl. I think Brady Trace won a bowl as well, but I think Glenville was DII or NAIA. | |

| As far as I know the only Trimble player to be on a DI, bowl winning team was #53 for the Cincinnati Bearcats, 2nd team, walk-on Long Snapper, the old cousin Keith The Bearcats won the first ever Humanitarian Bowl in 1997 and on Keith ring is position initials LS Cincy was lead that year by the nation's best punt returner, Tinker Keck, and two future pros CB Artrell Hawkins (Bengals) and G Jeff Fabini (Jets) Still need their opponent, but that part of the question is so difficult we'll move on to question #5, which should be rather easy #5 What All-Ohio player is featured in this picture used for my "Helmet History" page | |
