Went and watched the Generals play the Salem Quakers last night in Thornville. Salem's QB is a 6'2" 220 pound Tim Tebow clone who is commited to Ball St. He dialed up a post route on the first play from scrimmage and quickly had the Quakers down inside the red zone. Then that pesky Sheridan D stood tall and kept them out of the enzone. Sheridan turns it over right back to em at the 20 yard line and Salem punches it in for a early 6-0 lead as the QB just pummeled defenders on a couple QB draws. This was the last time they would show any signs of life until late in the 3rd quarter when Sheridan was well in command. The Generals have speed to burn on both sides of the ball. They swarm to the ball on D. QB is shifty and fast. Fullback is a beast who just drags defenders down the field. Just another one of those Culver teams I guess. They made it look easy and are alot of fun to watch. Great crowd and atmosphere. Sheridan 41 Salem 13
