| I have always liked McNabb. Been criticized a lot and has always handled himself with class. That being said he is way past his prime. The dude is 34 and in QB years thats like 68 in normal years. I don't understand the guarantee 40 mil. Was there that many suitors out there they had to do a 5 year deal? I just don't get it. They continue to drive a bigger rift between the superstars and us fans who are their lifeblood. Owners complain they can't make money, I can't afford to take my family to a game. What gives? | |

After looking deeper into his new contract, the Redskins have until mid-summer to pick up next year's option. If they cut him before then, they are only on the hook for $3.25 million. Essentially they they have until next year to decide if they want the new contact to kick in. | |
