| So, on another site I saw people saying Trimble football was on a slippery slope and going downhill a little more every year. Someone said it was like the Titanic and no life boats were in site. Does anyone believe this? If so, why are we on the decline? | |

| Small school cyclical condition. Look how good we were in the early 80's and then 86, 87, 88 we had a bad stretch and went 10-0 in 89. I wouldn't give up on this year's team yet, most of the problems I saw against Nelsonville-York can be corrected. Ton of missed blocking assignments, their linebackers crushed the Cats but they weren't blocked at all on a lot of plays. I'm sure the kids will be better this week. Schedule is also bass ackwards, 4 toughest games are the first 4 weeks. | |

| I talked to Phil. As we discussed the 0-2 start, a few thoughts of his kept coming up:
1. "We played better than I thought we could...."
2. "Wahama was better than I thought they were..."
I see us improving.....go cats...bring on Rusty as OC. | |
