At the Athens-NY game, a medium T-shirt was offered for the first person to buy a D.A.R.E. Pancake breakfast ticket in the press box. When no one immediately showed up, they offered the shirt to the first person who got there.
A young woman and a small boy made their way up to the box, followed on their heels by a young man, and all three entered the pressbox together. The seller of the pancake tickets misunderstood that they were all together and sold one ticket to the man, who stood, money in hand.
Then she waved him into the press area for the T-shirt.
The game announcer held up the shirt, over his head for the winner to grab.
As he was leaving, the woman and child clarified that they were NOT together, and held out her money for the pancake breakfast ticket.
It turns out that not only is the Sultan of Smack t-shirt too small for our young fan, but he's shown no interest in it.
We'd like to get it back to that young boy, since he was apparantly only interested in the shirt.
We missed the pair at the pancake breakfast the next morning. We'd like to get it to them, since they were there at the right time in the press-box.
How do we do this?
Can we drop it off at the next Athens home game to be held for them, or given away again?
Any ideas on how to reach them? (We can confirm who it was by the color of the small boy's hair, what he was doing as his mom opened the press box door, and the denomination of the bill she paid with. How's that for security?!)
HELP make a small child's desire come true. Help us return the shirt!
