Since we are not scoring the defenses, I will go ahead and post the results that I came up with. Feel free to dispute my findings if you'd like. I got my stats from profootballreference.com and used the RFFL scoring system. Here's what I got:

other tidbits:

QBS- we did well. The top 6 fantasy qb's in NFL history were selected.

RBS- We selected 10 of the top 12 in NFL History. 1983 Eric Dickerson had 340 points and 2000 Edgerrin James had 339. That is 10th and 11th on the list. Riggins and Joe Morris were the 2 who were picked that are not in the top 12. I was somewhat surprised Barry Sanders did not make the top 12, and a little surprised about Walter Payton too.

WRS- We took 11 of the top 12. 1965 Lance Alworth had 244 points, good enough for 8th all time and he was not taken. Sterling Sharpe was the only one selected not in the top 12.

TES- The top 6 were all chosen here.

K- The top 6 were all chosen here as well.

These are based on what I found as the top lists, I may have missed someone somewhere, but based on how the draft went I would think they are mostly correct. Phat head in the only person who selected a guy who was not on my original top possible picks list that was in fact in the top 12 with Crazy Legs. I don't know how I overlooked him.


This was pretty fun, we need to come up with another way to do one sometime.

How do you score RBs and WRs? I went through the list on profootballreference.com and picked the available guy who had the most TD's in one season. Three of the guys I picked (Riggins, Morris, Sharpe) are pointed out as not being on the top 12 list. WTF

All those guys had great years, just not enough to make the top 12. you get 6 points for each touchdown, and one point for each 10 yards rushing and receiving. A few hundred yards receiving and a few touchdowns catches for a running back earns them about 50 more points, which is where morris and riggins came up short on the rest of these guys. Sharpe was right outside the top 12 too.

There sure was a different approach required than doing a regular fantasy draft. You just had to jump around and pick the best available points compared to what was gonna be left after you picked. It was hard passing up running backs every round but i decided once the top 3 was gone i would be better off getting the best available at other positions. Once Eric got Tomlinson I was sure he would win because of how much gap there was between him and the second best, but i lucked out somehow. I guess I am the biggest loser around.
