How bout dem Reds?

Mid May and they are only 2 games out. Pitching has been decent and I am glad as heck they are at least giving me reasons to watch.

I'm happier than Mecum at a Chippendale's show that the Reds are winning, but I've been a fan for so long that I'm still holding my breath. There is always that mid season stretch where every team goes in the tank. It's how quickly can they battle out of that tank.

Me and you both holding our breath, not a pretty sight. You are right about getting excited to soon. I went to a game last year and they were around 44-41 something like that. They were 3 games out I know for sure. St. Louis pounded them that day and the rest of the season was pathetic. I really think they are better this year even though I predict Cordero will blow some saves. He scares me, he always seems to get into some trouble. If Homer pulls it together you never know.

the cards will win the division by 15 games no need to get excitied.

6 games against the Cards between now and June 2nd. They need to bring Chapman up to throw a heater into Pujol's knee the 1st game.

Keep your fingers crossed Phathead, if the Reds win today they are in 1st place. They always seem to choke against the Cards though.

Rolen has been playing well. Johnny Gomes is who I can't believe. He was batting like .190 3 weeks ago. Might be time to sit down Stubbs and give Heisey a shot.

The only thing that sucks about day games is they aren't on TV.

The Reds laid a turd today..... How do get up 8 runs and then lead 9-3 going into the 9th and lose? This weekends series with Indians will tell what kind of team we have and how they respond to that loss.
