Ultimate Tailgate Cook Off Saturday Nov. 13th Noon

The Athens County Tailgate Champion will be crowned on Saturday November 13th at the Pit Stop in Nelsonville. The festivities will kick off at noon. Athens County Children Services will have two trucks there. We are doing a toy drive to help the children of Athens County. Toys must be NEW and in the package, if they wanted old ones I could fill up the trucks from my house. We will have the best food of the year available for you to enjoy. Bring a toy and throw it in the truck and you'll get a wrist band that allows you to enjoy all the great chow. Don't want to bring a toy, a donation of 5 bucks will get you a wrist band. The fine folks from Donatos,Kiser's BBQ Shack and Rider Insurance are starting the trucks off with $300 in toys. We will also donate $100 to the football team of the community that donates the most toys.

Great tailgating at Athens this week. Had the best Texas sheet cake ever. The ole man reached in his pocket at halftime and pulled out 2 pieces he wrapped in a paper towel.

Never thought I would see the day when someone got in for vegeatable pizza as tailgatin food. It must have been some pretty good stuff, unless the Sultan done hired on a pack of rabbits. Where's the Beef?

Can't wait to hit the Lot for some Saturday night tailgating. Heard Bruce was doing Kabobs and Jarhead might be doing some of his famous fried green maters.

Great night of tailgating at the Lot. Brew Brunton's steak kabobs with corn on the cob from his old man's garden on them. Garry Jones melt in your mouth Texas cheesecake was awsome.

Big thanks to Grandma Huntsberger and crew for showing us a great time at Logan. Hate to miss out on those caramel apple burritos next week, Brady and Blake will have to update me on how they are.

The list is starting to grow for the Ultimate Tailgate Cookoff. Great time at the Lot last night. Big crowd and lots of great food.

I think they can use about anything. Unfortunately there seems to me more demand than supply.
