The Cat's played pretty well last night on the Defensive side of the ball earning the shutout. Only gave up 91 total yards and had a nice defensive stand after a turnover to preserve the goosegg. Didn't block the greatest on offense and played a little sloppy. Still almost had a 2 rushers go over the century mark. Should have been a little worse on the scoreboard, but its a win and we still have a chance at sneaking into the playoffs.
Other observations:
Eastern had some pretty sweet homecoming floats. I still see it as a slap in the face that we were chosen as their homecoming game. I guess with all the seniors they will be losing, they must have thought it was their year. What more motivation do you need than being the homecoming opponent.
I also watched Howie Roundball fall off the bucket he uses to see over the fence, hope he is ok since its almost basketball season for the eagles.
