Mike Leach HIRED!

Mike Leach has sat on the bench too long. I am suprised it has taken this long for a program to hire him. Here is the link.

He may do some good in the weak ACC

He will absolutely light the ACC up. Bet he don't get much good publicity on ESPN.

I don't see Mike Leach lighting up the ACC. It took his system about 10 years to be successfl in the Big 12, where the defenses (for the most part) are much bigger and slower. Also, Maryland would have to be very patient with him, because to run his system, he needs a certain type of athlete, and right now, Maryland doesn't have them. By the way, it's not exactly a recruiting hotbed like Texas is. I wish him luck (in all but 1 game, of course), but it may be tougher than he thinks.
